We are all about celebrating what you can do with nutritious and delicious unrefined coconut oil.
There is considerable research to support its nutritional and health benefits - including boosting the immune system, weight loss, anti-aging and many more. However the benefits come from consistent use but there are a number of inherent challenges:
Use - many people struggle to take the recommended serving of 2 tablespoons daily - either directly or through home cooking.
Freshness - coconut oil oxidises rapidly and oxidised coconut oil is less pleasant to take/use
Consistency - whilst solid at temperatures below 24 Degree Celsius, the oil will be liquid at above 24 Degree Celsius

Founder's experience with unrefined coconut oil:
9 years ago I suffered from very bad acne and traditional medications and creams just couldn't help - nothing did, until I was recommended to try coconut oil. Rather than applying on my skin, I wanted to be healthy from inside my body.
This is when I ran up against the challenges of choosing a brand of coconut oil, its usage, freshness and consistency. I decided to use my extensive food product development experience to create my own spread made only with the best quality coconut oil and now I can enjoy it everyday.
After only a few weeks I felt happier as I saw significant improvements with my skin getting a healthy glow. I also had more energy and was losing weight as well. I love the delicious coconut oil spread so much and I want to share it with everyone.
We realised that there were so many 'coconut oil' based products, none of which were really satisfying. We knew that there was a need for a product that could transform nutritious organic cold-pressed extra-virgin coconut oil into a natural, delicious, easy-to-eat coconut-oil spread that can help people to enjoy the goodness of coconut-oil in a very convenient and tasty way.
We also realised that there was space for a product that focused on honest, natural ingredients. So, we created our own, it is such a wonderful product that adds a subtle coconut aroma and taste to recipes. We love it so much and we want to share it with everyone.
Our core values are: Natural, Simple, Honest. We hope that comes through in everything we do.
Although we are a new company, our founder has over 18 years of experience specializing in food and beverage research and product development for major food companies. We are passionate and innovative about food. Food is for more than just easing hunger. It brings health, joy, satisfaction and fond memories. What we eat is what we become. We appreciate the impact that food has on us.
